Summary
The Customer Service and Sales Representatives work to maximize positive customer experiences by responding to customer inquiries or complaints regarding the companys products or services. They support sales goals of the agency as communicated from the agent to meet long:term and short:term goals for agency growth. This includes new business, cross:sell opportunities, customer service, retention, and profit goals.
Core Job Duties Include (But are not limited to):
:
Become licensed in Property and Casualty as well as Life, Accident and Health
:
Cross:sells all products at every opportunity
:
Client/Claims Liaison
:
Aids in preparing and conducting annual review appointments
:
Continually follow:up on X dates and set new prospect appointments
:
Utilize the company system(s) on a continual basis to update policies and database information
:
Coordinates thank you/welcome letters for new households on a continual basis
:
Reviews cancellation and renewal lists to ensure high level of retention and profitability.
:
Makes calls and sends letters when appropriate on cancellations and renewal changes.
:
Sets up and maintains files on all new business accounts
:
Always asks for referrals and thanks customers for their business.
:
Shares responsibilities of answering the phone
:
Manage dashboard activities such as my alerts, marketing postcards/letters,
:
and telephone follow:up
:
Distribute to new prospects an Area of Concern worksheet prior to meetings
:
Perform risk analysis and underwriting
:
Determine new business marketing focus based on research and analysis of competitive areas in local market
:
Manage and monitor calling activity and production of agency marketers

Note: This position may require having the flexibility to work nonstandard hours/shifts and having the ability to adhere to a structured schedule. Some travel will occasionally be required for various training.
