Key Account Manager
For a Bedding Manufacture
The Key Account Manager role is responsible for generating revenue by managing the our largest client business in which long and shy; term relationship development is crucial. The Key Account Manager maintains and expands relationships with all facets of their business (orders, shipments, returns, merchandising, marketing, training, etc.). The Key Account Manager is part of a team responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives.
* Manage account and achieve assigned sales targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives;
* Maintain strong relationships with key personnel in assigned customer and high customer satisfaction ratings that meet company standards;
* Operate as the day:to:day point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customer account;
* Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our products according to customer needs and objectives;
* Forecast and track key account metrics;
* Understand territory, market, customers and competition to develop marketing efforts and leverage sales opportunities;
* Participate in store specific events, seasonal training and other events as scheduled;
* Represent the entire range of company products and services to lead the customer account planning cycle and ensure customerneeds and expectations are met;
* Identify and grow opportunities within current customer relationships and collaborate with management to ensure growth of existing accounts; and
Bachelors Degree, business major is preferred with a focus on sales;
5:7 years of experience in an account management role;
Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization;
Experience in delivering customer:focused solutions based on customer needs;
Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail;
Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; and
Willingness to travel extensively to DCs and customers market areas.
