Payroll Manager / HR duties

Chastang Ford is now accepting resumes for a Payroll / HR Manager. This is a full time position. Hours are from 8:00 A.M. until 5:00 P.M. Monday-Friday.

Duties include processing payroll for 100 employees on a weekly basis, recording journal entries for all payroll transactions, processing child support checks, transmitting 401(k) contributions and H S A contributions.

HR duties include administering the benefit plans, FMLA, worker's comp, TWC claims, and in-house Compli HR digital record keeping software. Also, this person will be required to maintain accurate employee and payroll files.

Qualified applicants must be organized, detail oriented, able to meet deadlines, proficient in Excel and know 10-key by touch.

Dealership experience is a plus. Accounting knowledge is a must. Applicant must have a clear understanding of general ledger journal entries, intercompany transactions, and salary allocations. Applicant must be professional in dealing with co-workers.
