One of the city's manufacturing companies is currently hiring for a part-time Bilingual A/P Clerk job in Houston, TX. The company is located on the North side of town and offers a flexible work schedule (any days or hours), to a maximum of 24 hours per week. If selected for this role, you will be primarily responsible for managing client invoices and setting up new vendors in the system. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of prior accounting/administrative support experience and you MUST BE bilingual (English/Spanish) in order to be considered for the role. The pay for this position ranges between $16 and $17.50 per hour, depending on experience. Bilingual A/P Clerk Job Responsibilities:* Process check requests* Process invoices for payments* Match vendor invoices with purchase orders * Process expense reports for payment* Verify invoice quantities and prices agree with purchase order* Obtain proper approvals and general ledger coding* Work with purchasing department in getting new vendors set up in the system* Reconciles vendor statements* File check copy along with invoice and supporting documentation in vendor files* Accumulate information for current month-end accruals* Assist with obtaining W-9 from vendors Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of accounting support experience, REQUIREDMust be fully bilingual (English/Spanish)Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint If you are interested in this Bilingual A/P Clerk position, or other opportunities available through Ajilon Professional Staffing please submit your resume today!
