M-F, 8:30 am- 5 pm: Need to start immediately!

Front desk Receptionist Responsibilities

- Answer phone calls, direct calls, take messages
- Assist in variety of clerical/admin functions
- Sort and distribute mail
- Schedule Appointments and follow- ups
- Call Patients for Reminder Appointments
- Call Patients for reschedule/missed appointments
- Know how to verify insurance eligibility
- Update Patient insurance, phone number, address, etc.
- Collect office visit payments
- Collect Blood work payments
- Check in/out patients
- Give patients specialist/referral information
- Fill out radiology orders
- Call patients from insurance list to make annual appointments
- Fill out Metro Lift forms for patients
- Fill out Handi-cap forms
- Fill out transportation forms
- End of day daily closing
- Count number of patients at the end of the day and give deposits to manager.

- At least one year of receptionist experience
- Clinical Insurance Verification Experience Preferred
- Spanish- speaker preferred.
