We continue to remain at the forefront of the testing services industry, building an enviable reputation.We are seeking a creative, self-motivated, detail-oriented and passionate SEO Specialist who can independently and proactively develop and maximize the volume of inbound organic traffic and rankings on major search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) by identifying content and keyword opportunities, for our online properties. You will oversee and manage SEO deliverables and long-term strategies. The ideal candidate will have strong technical SEO implementation and analytical skills to evaluate performance and be able to report on data using industry-leading tools, analytics, and performance metrics. You will be expected to bring new ideas to the table and be able to execute in a team environment. Responsibilities: Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion and optimization in our industry's competitive SEO landscape Research, develop, and implement link building strategy Ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on sites Work with technical and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and campaigns Recommend changes to website architecture, content, liking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords Create monthly, quarterly and ad hoc reports per business unit and/or geography for the website and SEO campaign reports, and evaluations for leadership teamsTrack, report, and analyse keyword, SERPs and competitor trends Technical and content site auditing and reporting to ensure SEO integrity Establish key benchmarks to indicate performance goals for SEO campaigns and efforts. Utilize inbound methodologies to target key personas with keyword research Responsible for attaining SEO growth goals Website analytics reviews to identify issues and opportunitiesCollaborate with 3rd party developers on as needed basisGoogle AdWords consolidation, proposals, expenditure and management Create guides on SEO how to for distribution across BU teams to help educate and optimise input into the SEO strategyMaintain expertise on search engine news and trendsOther duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Marketing or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 5 years of SEO experience. Core Competencies:A thorough understanding of how search engine optimization works and a passion for continuing learning new technology An up-to-date, working knowledge of current, past, and projected trends in SEO industry Strong knowledge of the web ecosystem - SEO, AdWords, Websites, Social Media Experience working with popular keyword tools (Google, Alexa, WordTracker, Keyword Discovery, etc.) Experience with Google and Bing's services, including analytics and Webmaster Tools Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and features The ability to work with back-end SEO elements such as .htaccess, robots.txt, metadata, site speed optimizations etc. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript development and constraints Proven success in link building and viral strategies A deep understanding of mobile strategy and how it relates to SEO A solid grasp of how websites, digital newsletters, press releases, social media, and related strategies align with SEO goals and growth Experience in building inbound organic search traffic and improving SERPs The ability to provide materials, training and education for non-SEO team members and clientsCreative and analytical thinking Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Attention to detail and the ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task in a deadline driven atmosphere Be a proactive self-starter with the ability to work independently, while collaborating with other departmentsProficient verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Team oriented.Ability to adapt to changes in organizational structure and software.We would like to thank everyone for their interest in ALS but only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.'ALS is proud to be an equal opportunity employer committed to achieving and maintaining a workforce which reflects and affirms the diversity of our society'ALS is a VEVRAA Federal Contractor.
