Halliburton Consulting is looking for someonewith an advanced level of technical expertise who is capable of functioning effectively under general supervision. Exploits expertise and experience in hydrocarbon exploration, development and production and supports innovative approaches; understands how domain data has been acquired and creates and uses cross:discipline workflows to implement best:practice approaches. Capable of actively participating in a team with members with various levels of competence in the relevant technical domain(s). Supports and pursues the use of best practice work processes, project:, quality: and commercial management. Recognizes and makes use of the talents of colleagues and demonstrates commitment to improve own and others competences. Is frequently involved in customer contacts and contributes to business development activities. Demonstrates project management skills and is capable of managing a small project team. Gets involved occasionally in budgeting and financial control; some involvement in strategy development. Effectively exploits a global network of professional contacts and typically contributes to 1 or 2 multi:disciplinary projects simultaneously within the geographical region.
Primary Responsibilities:
:Develop proposals and tender responses for the Capability and Process Improvement practice (C and PI)
:Manage multi discipline consulting projects related to oil and gas exploration, development, and production
:Lead process improvement and change management consulting engagements for oil and gas clients
:Manage capability development programs delivering client competency across the E and P value chain (Exploration through Production)
:Facilitate client workshops and deliver consulting presentations
:Map business processes in the oil and gas value chain, diagnose issues and identify opportunities for client improvement
:Develop operating models for oil and gas clients in all areas of exploration and production
:Manage complex, cross functional projects, including time, scope, cost, and quality of consulting engagements
:Mentor and develop local talent in the different countries where Halliburton Consulting operates
:Participate in internal projects that support C and PM, and lead to additional pull through for other Halliburton PSLs
:Minimum of 10 years' oil and gas industry experience
:Experience with Process Improvement, Project Management, Change Management, and Capability Development
:Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Science related discipline
:Master's Degree (in Business, Engineering or Science) strongly preferred
:Certification in Project Management (PMP) or Lean/Six Sigma helpful
:Strong communication skills.
:Able to present to a diverse audience and convince different stakeholders at all levels.
:In:depth knowledge of Oil and Gas Exploration and Production.
:Previous experience with an E and P operator or equivalent consulting team preferred.
:Ability to work in a complex global environment through a matrix organization
:Up to 75 international travel required for the role
