Do You Have At Least 2 Children Between The Ages Of 2 And 10?

The Understanding Children and Families Laboratory in the Department of Psychology at the University of Central Florida is looking for parents of young children to take part in a research project. This project plans to examine the relationships among parenting behaviors, the parent-child attachment relationship, and young children's temperament and behavior problems. It is hoped that this project will provide valuable information about how families in today's society function and which family characteristics can be utilized to promote more positive outcomes for young children. If you are interested in participating in this project, you will be asked to complete a packet of questionnaires that will take approximately an hour of your time. The questionnaires will have you rate various behaviors relevant to parenting and child outcomes. Your participation is completely voluntary, and you can choose to answer only those questions with which you are comfortable. Your responses will be completely anonymous. None of your responses will be examined individually; instead, your responses will be examined only within the context of the whole data set that is collected or in the aggregate. The Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the University of Central Florida has approved this project. To participate, you may anonymously complete our survey online at http://edu.surveygizmo.com/s3/1255212/Parenting-Today or contact Meagan McSwiggan at mmcswiggan@knights.ucf.edu, or Kimberly Renk, Ph.D., at krenk@mail.ucf.edu to receive one of our research packets in the mail with a stamped return envelope for easy completion and return. Thank you for your time and consideration in advance. We greatly appreciate it!

We are doing a pilot study about transgender men's experiences with pregnancy. This study aims to better understand how to best assist female-to-male transgender individuals who may want to become pregnant as well as how to counsel about pregnancy and possible birth outcomes. The data collected in this initial unfunded pilot study will offer some guidance to transgender men, and their healthcare providers, who are pregnant or interested in becoming pregnant. The results from this study will support and guide the development of future outcome-oriented clinical research in this area of intense growing interest and importance

This study is an anonymous online survey of people who identify as transgender men (assigned female at birth with a transmasculine/ transmale/ female-to-male gender identity) and have been pregnant and delivered a baby. If you self-identify with this population, then we would like to invite you to participate in this study.

If you choose to be in the study, you will complete a survey. This survey will help us learn more about transgender men (assigned female at birth with a transmasculine/transmale/female-to-male gender identity) who have been pregnant and completed the pregnancy. The survey will take about 20 minutes to complete. The questions will relate to your experience with fertility, conception, pregnancy, and birth. To be eligible for the study you must be over 18 years old and have completed a pregnancy within the past 10 years. You can skip questions that you do not want to answer or stop the survey at any time. The survey is anonymous, and no one will be able to link your answers back to you. Please do not include your name or other information that could be used to identify you in the survey responses.

All study results will be made available to the community through the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health Iat the University of California, San Francisco. The mission of the Center of Excellence for Transgender Health is to increase access to comprehensive, effective, and affirming health care services for trans and gender-variant communities.

Questions? Please contact the study coordinator Lexi Light (415-206-6453). If you have questions or concerns about your rights as a research participant, you can call the UCSF Committee on Human Research at 415-476-1814.

Being in this study is optional. If you want to participate, click this link to start the survey: https://redcap.ucsfopenresearch.org/surveys/?s=c4SXLP.

You are invited to take part in a study investigating Social Media use.

I am a researcher at Durham University and I am investigating online Social Media; including how and why people may be using Social Media, and their attitudes and perceptions of it. Social media refers to online sites and applications that encourage the user to interact with others, this can include social networking sites such as Facebook, microblogging sites such as Twitter, and content sharing communities such as YouTube.

I would be very grateful if you would consider taking part in my online study. The study is completed anonymously through an online questionnaire, which will take approximately 25 minutes to complete. The questionnaire asks about your use of Social Media, your experiences as a result of Social Media and your opinions and views. We want anyone who uses Social Media – however frequently or infrequently – to take part.

Anyone aged 13-70 years of age, who has used social media at least once within the last 3 months and who is a fluent English speaker is eligible to take part.

As a thank you for your time, everyone who completes the questionnaire receives the opportunity to enter a free prize draw to win a £50 Amazon voucher!

This study aims to look at the relationship between resilience, self-reported offending, family background and personality. You will be asked to anonymously complete a short series of questionnaires online. You will be asked about your background and growing up, your personality, whether you have ever engaged in offending behaviour and how you deal with difficult situations. These responses will be completely anonymous and cannot be linked back to you as an individual. If you feel uncomfortable with any of the questions you can leave them blank.

At the end of the study you can choose to email me separately to enter a lottery to win £50 (or $75) (even if you have not answered all the questions). If you email me it cannot be connected with your survey in any way and will be used for the sole purpose of contacting the winner.

This entire questionnaire will take between 10-15 minutes.

**Please note you must be at least 18 to participate in this research.

To participate, cut and paste the following link into your browser:
