b) the affair was disclosed at least 6 months ago,
c) you are still married to the person who engaged in the infidelity,
d) you are at least 18 years of age or older and,
e) you have experienced at least some healing since the disclosure.

Definition: For the purposes of this research, AFFAIR, INFIDELITY or EXTRAMARITAL INVOLVEMENT is defined as a sexual or emotional relationship or act with a person outside of the marriage, typically involving secrecy. It could have taken place in person or by other means, such as over the phone or Internet.
