Just some of our services and outreach efforts:Twenty-four-hour emergency care, both at designated Hospital Emergency Centers and off-site Emergency Care locationsLife-saving intervention during cardiovascular and neurological incidentsComprehensive women’s care, from obstetric care to minimally invasive gynecological surgeryNeonatal and pediatric intensive careInpatient and outpatient surgery, rehabilitation, and monitoring supportEducation programs – child birth and child care classes, surgical seminars, physician speaker seriesManagement centers for diabetes, heart failure, and other complex conditionsCommunity partnerships with the American Heart Association, Joe Niekro Foundation, March of Dimes, and others.The Gulf Coast Division Office is looking for an Assistant Vice President (AVP) - Trauma.Responsibilities:Ensure state designation and/or American College of Surgeons verification of Gulf Coast Division trauma programs through: Continuous assessment of individual programs, personnel, resources, and survey readinessCollaboration with HCA National, Trauma Program Directors, Trauma Program Managers, Trauma Medical Directors and key facility stakeholders and Executives to ensure national and division trauma goals are being metDevelopment and oversight of transparent reporting system of individual program performance, quality and survey readiness accessible to Gulf Coast Division CEO, CMO, Senior VP Strategy, and other key stakeholdersServe as a resource for inter-intra disciplinary team members that participate in the care of adult and pediatric trauma patients.Assume responsibility and accountability at the division level for care provided by nursing and ancillary staff responsible for care for trauma patients Provide oversight and direction to hospital level trauma services staff to meet performance improvement and patient safety requirements of the American College of SurgeonsSuccessfully develop trauma programs at the hospital level, division level and within state/national systems.Provide oversight and direction of trauma related activities, and initiate changes internally and externally at the division level that will promote optimal trauma care and outcomesCollaborate with key stakeholders at the national, division and hospital level on trauma strategy and growth opportunities#LI-GULF
