Incumbent is expected to bring project management and process improvement expertise and to collaborate with the HR Business Partners and Business clients to measurable successes. The HR PMO will also produce meaningful dashboards for HRBP's and clients.
:Deliver project excellence to our clients (agile, timely, simplified, and efficient). Free up HRBP's to focus on the "What" we are delivering versus the "How" we deliver it.
:Collaborate with HR leadership, HR Centers of Excellence (COE's), IT,client leadership and HRBP's on assigned projects.
:Develop and maintain a project calendar for Human Resources and clients.
:Design a project portal as the main entry point for all HR projects and programs.
:Apply project management methodologies to: streamline processes, improve communications, organize and secure project files/retention.
:Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
:Ascertain or establish project budgets and manage to (report on) those budgets.
:Utilize prescribed project management methodology, including standards and templates. Coach team members in project management best practices.
:Identify project risks and barriers and execute plans to mitigate. Escalate issues as appropriate.
:Prepare communications plans and collaborate with appropriate parties to draft communications for projects. Assure that all stakeholders are fully apprised and aligned.
:Prepare weekly project status reports for management and prepare monthly project status reports for corporate:wide review.
:Create repeatable processes in an effort to increase speed, agility and transferability.
:Utilize available HRIS data and systems to build meaningful dashboards for HR and clients.
:Develop direct reports and prepare them for positions of greater responsibility.
General Qualifications:
:Bachelor's degree in business, human resources or a related field. Master's degree or professional certification a plus.
:7+ years' experience in Human Resources with increasing levels of responsibility.
:5+ years' experience in project management is required. PMP certification preferred.
:Skilled in structured process improvement methodologies.
:Excellent computer and data skills (Excel) with the ability to build complex spreadsheets with numerous formulas and Pivot tables that are clear and easy to follow.
:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
:Demonstrated ability to understand the role of the project in business strategy and to provide ideas and recommendations regarding how to best leverage the project across various functional groups.
:Experience in the electric power industry is a plus.
