Summary
Oversight of leave of absence (LOA) third party administrators responsible for administration of company's LOA programs, ensuring compliance with federal / state leave laws and the underlying company business practices supporting these programs.
Essential Job Functions
:Partner closely with HR and others on related cases, and meet regularly to review the status of escalated cases and develop strategy for resolution
:Create and maintain solid operational procedures with third party administrator to ensure compliance and consistency in the execution and administration of leaves of absence
:Actively manage HRIS data files exchange between company and third party administer to ensure accuracy
:Assist in the creation and facilitation of LOA training
:Develop appropriate LOA strategies with third party vendor ensure to prompt and accurate decisions
:Provide input regarding company business practices supporting the LOA programs
:Develop LOA related reports; monitor trends, provide insights and recommendation for action to management to improve employee experience while effectively managing costs
:Coordinate and investigate invoicing activity between company's medical designee and company
:Validate LOA third party administrators' headcount for invoicing purposes
:Assist other Global Benefits team members on certain projects as needed.
:Manage company's Educational Assistance program, including exception request, reimbursement escalations, monthly meetings, eligibility file handling, and reimbursement file review for payroll processing
:Serve as backup for other LOA team member(s) related to LOA offset pay calculation, military differential pay and other tasks as required

Required Qualifications
:Completion of an undergraduate degree in human resources management, business administration or similar disciplines
:Minimum of 5 of experience in benefits design and/or consulting
Preferred Qualifications
:4 years of experience in absence management
:SAP payroll experience
:Strong SAP reporting and analysis experience
:Ability to analyze information and convert related activities into a comprehensive work plan
:Ability to identify basic problems and procedural irregularities, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion
:Ability to multi:task and drive multiple projects
:Ability to work independently in a fast:paced environment with changing priorities
:Strong problem solving, time management and priority setting skills
