Position Description

The employed physician is primarily responsible to provide timely phone and/or video telehealth consultation exclusively for the patients within the MDLIVE Medical Group.

Major Areas of Responsibility

Minimum 40 scheduled hours per week
Administrative responsibility: Approximately 5 hours per week
Exclusive to MDLIVE
Full Time Telehealth Clinical Care

Physician agrees to see and treat patients by providing clinical, diagnostic and therapeutic telehealth medical services in the area of his/her experience and training, along with related administrative services
Physician must at all times meet the following qualifications:
o Maintain a license or licenses to practice medicine in the appropriate States, as requested

o Obtain and maintain all appropriate approvals to prescribe and dispense drugs under applicable state and federal laws

o Establish and maintain active participation in the Medicare and Medicaid program as an approved participating provider

Specific Responsibilities of the job

Apply for, obtain, and/or maintain active medical staff privileges at MDLIVE pursuant to Medical Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures

Maintain board eligibility and/or obtain and maintain board certification in the designated specialty throughout the term of this Agreement
Participate in regular Medical Staff activities and responsibilities, including, without limitation, attendance at Medical Staff meetings, and complete all MDLIVE telemedicine training
Complete and receive credit for continuing medical education as required by state licensure requirements
Consistent with Company’s procedures and policies, Physician shall prepare complete, timely and accurate medical and other records (collectively “Records”) with respect to the services and treatment rendered to any patient by Physician
Meet or exceed quality, patient satisfaction, connectivity SLA and Medical Group standards
Take on additional tasks as reasonably requested

· Base salary and productivity component. Base salary includes 40 clinical hours per week( 20 scheduled, 8-hour shifts total/month)

o Schedule will factor in patient volume, scheduled coverage, and service level requirements

o One on-call shift (12a - 6a EST) every two weeks

o 2 main holidays per year

o 4 weeks of vacation/sick time

o CME: $5K maximum allocation

o Payment of License fees

o Holiday incentives applied

Job Requirements

Strong telehealth patient satisfaction, quality, communication skills, including both verbal and written

Demonstrated ability to work with people at various levels from associates to senior leaders.

MD/DO with Board Certification in Internal Medicine/Family Practice/Emergency Medicine, or Pediatrics.

Work is performed in a home or office environment. Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume work environment.
