Community and Public Relations Intern - The Woman's Hospital of Texas

The HCA Gulf Coast Division is looking for a Community and Public Relations Intern - The Woman's Hospital of Texas.

The primary responsibility of this position is to support The Woman’s Hospital of Texas Community and Public Relations Department with community and PR initiatives and reputation management. This person will work with The Woman’s Hospital of Texas Community and PR Director to assist the hospital with its online presence, including video profiles, updating social media sites and reviewing our website as well as assist with other traditional community and PR duties such as event planning, employee communication, news releases, etc.

Responsibilities:
  • Support social media program execution including: assisting with the development of content and optimizing content for community engagement and more
  • Organize video shoots and photography sessions, including coordinating schedules with providers and managers, attending video shoots, and helping with editing
  • Conduct social media updates, outreach, and monitoring on Facebook, Twitter and other social media platforms
  • Identify opportunities to activate online influencers
  • Assisting with marketing initiatives, including direct mail, advertising, websites, social media and media relations
  • Monitor and evaluate social media results on a daily basis in coordination with online goals and benchmarks
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Help identify and write articles for employee and physician publications
  • Perform other duties as needed
  • Must read, understand, and adhere to all HCA Gulf Coast Division’s policies and procedures
  • Practice and adhere to the Code of Conduct and Mission and Value Statement
