Bakery Clerks

Rice Epicurean Markets are in search of energetic individuals for the Bakery Department. Candidates will be trained to operate ovens and proofers, and pricing terminals. Duties will include care and packaging of all fresh baked breads, cakes, pies, and cookies. Assist the Bakery Manager and Cake Decorator with daily tasks. Bakery Clerks will be trained to merchandise, code and pull baked goods on a daily basis. Other duties are take phone orders from customers and prepare sweet trays for the catering department. Sanitation duties will include sweeping, mopping, and dishwashing. Bakery Clerks also provide customers with prompt and courteous service and recommend items to promote suggestive selling.
