The retail energy organization is responsible for NRG's sales, marketing, operations, and branding efforts. The Intern Program recruits highly motivated, mobileminded, college students to join NRG Energy during the summer of 2017. Participants are provided opportunities to develop their professional skills and expose them to the NRG culture. Participants will explore career options and develop technical and professional decision making skills, while fulfilling specific business needs working with NRG leaders. Participants will also have the opportunity to assess their capabilities, skills and interests and gain valuable exposure to NRGs culture and values.
Position Summary:
:Participate in projects in key functional areas or core operational/business groups on a variety of strategic initiatives and projects
:Projects may include project management, competitive intelligence, strategy, process improvement, issue resolution, product development, analytics
:Prepare and deliver business cases on solid analysis and business intuition
:Provide support on requested tasks, organize tasks, communicate and think next steps proactively

:Project Management
:Must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited university or college
:Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Finance Degree preferred
