Job DescriptionOutside Sales SpecialistJC&C Roofing Company provides services for the entire roofing system. We provide everyone on our team with the tools and training in order to achieve our goals.We are looking for new Outside Sales Specialist to join our team NOW!We are looking for hard working individuals who want to be part of an elite group of Sales Representatives! The ideal candidate would be willing to work at least 10-hour days out of the year. Our sales representatives need to be looking to get ahead, but we are NOT looking for dreamers! We want the action takers!PLEASE NOTE:This is a commission based pay. If you are more of 9-5 kind of employee, this is not going to be a good fit for you. If you do not deal with rejection well, this role will not be a good fit for you.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Generates and develops new business to meet specified sales goals. Makes outbound lead appointments; follows-up with potential and existing customers in person or by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads regarding needed services. Handles direct inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales. Develops customer relations including but not limited to sales leads, canvas leads, business contacts, and customer service. Responds to all inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner. Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers. Provides company presentations and product demos to qualified customers. Emphasizes quote prices, credit terms, and prepares sales contracts for closed deals. Manage expectations of all clients to supervisors Builds and maintains customers relationships. Understands and communicates information regarding company products, services, and policies and procedures to new and existing clients. Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computerized Housecall Pro database. Ensures that all required client paperwork is complete, accurate, and submitted on time. Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Be able to travel daily in assigned territories to meet with clients. Own a vehicle and valid drivers license and be willing to travel 80% in assigned territories.QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience building business relationships. Experience with canvassing. High level of motivation. Acute attention to detail. Strong organizational skills. Must be a self-starter and proactive. Commitment to excellence and high standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
