Sales Executive (Field Sales)

Job Description:
Working as a Sales Executive (Field Sales), you'll be responsible for acquiring new residential customers within an assigned geographic area. You'll be visiting potential customers at their residences and review their current electric utility preferences. Your communication skills will ensure your success.

This is a fast-paced position with lots of face-time.
Since we are authorized representatives with StarTex Power, you'll be trained to sell our innovative StarTex products for renewable energy and cost savings.

What's it like?

You'll receive PRE-QUALIFIED leads for a specific geographic area you'll knock on each day. Each knock is another opportunity to close the deal!

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute daily visits to customers in designated territory, between 2pm – 8pm, daily.
2. Able to understand and communicate value statements and qualifying questions to targeted customers.
3. Establish and maintain good customer relations
4. Facilitate enrollment call between customer and StarTex Power call-center representative.
5. Complete a tablet enrollment form-fill, on behalf of customer, and submit daily at team meetings.
6. Attend daily training and motivation sales meets.

Preferred Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:
1. Demonstrated ability to set and exceed goals
2. Goal oriented and ambitious, with capacity and drive to reach and exceed quotas
3. Demonstrated communication skills, with assertive, positive and persistent style
4. Ability to provide customer service and relationship building skills
5. Ability to effectively communicate through all mediums (verbal, listening, written)
6. Aptitude for acquiring sales skills and product knowledge
7. Organized, with effective time management skills
8. Ability to work independently and with a team
9. Mature and self-confident
10. Strong work ethic
11. Committed to building a career path

Previous marketing/sales experience is not required; we will provide full training, to all selected candidates, necessary to satisfy the requirements of the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT).
