GENERAL DESCRIPTION: Provides support to home delivery services for a designated market region. Position is responsible for managing daily operations of motor carriers. In addition, Operations Manager maintains positive and ongoing relationship with external customer and is responsible for generating positive customer satisfaction.

  • Minimum Required Education: Associates degree in a business related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum Required Experience: 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Desirable Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management with two years of logistics management experience and knowledge of DOT and OSHA regulations.

    • Strong Fluency user of Windows applications and Microsoft Office programs such as MS Project, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

    • Quickly learns and achieves proficiency in new software applications as needed.
  • Other Technical / Computer Skills -
    • Thorough knowledge of internal company software applications applicable to position/business unit
    • Understands and is familiar with the most widely known and emerging tools, technologies and social applications.
