Description Job Summary Statement: Participate in the manufacturing processes for state of the art injection mold coolers. Assist management in the training and development of Rotational associates while sustaining production, scrap, safety, and quality measures set by Igloo management. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: Able to perform any job description within the injection molding department. Ability to effectively train department associates in all tooling and positions available in the injection molding department. Maintains shift supplies and performs quality checks to include part impact, sieve analysis, pour ability, tensile strength, and melt index. Assist Operators during daily team meetings and address issues associates post on station charts. Can effectively maintain shift operations during the absence of shift supervision to include record keeping. Understands all goals associated with department and can assist management in implementing Lean Manufacturing Practices, 5s, Kan Ban, and quality improvements. Requirements Minimum Requirements and Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalency. Experience: Two (2) years injection molding experience. Language Skills: Able to speak, read, write, comprehend, and communicate Basic English. Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs.; Able to stand for long periods of time. Work Environment: Able to maintain stability in high heat fast pace working environment. Ability to problem solve rotational processing issues. Understanding of all equipment and processing in department to achieve Igloo goals. Ability to achieve stand-up and sit-down forklift certification. Able to read and understand part specification sheets. Preferred Qualifications: Computer Skills: Microsoft Office knowledge preferred including Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
