She is 1 1/2 years old fixed He is 1 and not fixed All shots are upto date. Both have been heart worm tested and currently on heartguard (I just bought a brand new 6 month supply) (you can get this very cheap on CL don't pay full price) I Also have them on advantix for fleas (I have a brand new pack of this as well) (you can get this very cheap on CL don't pay full price) They come with heartguard, Advantix, two brand new leashes each (one is the retractable kind), two brand new collars, two brand new harnesses, three stainless Steele bowls. All of this stuff cost me alot of money actually alot more than reHoming fee. They are perfect dogs! Great for apartments. These are inside dogs due to coat, but can be outside if you make them a very cozy home. The above description in wikipedia is very accurate. These large dogs eat very little 36 ounce of food per day. You can actually just leave it out and they will pick at it all day. You only need walk them once a day, but they would love to play at dog park. They get along with all dogs, cats and kids. They are very obedient and never have accidents in house or Apartments. These dogs very rarely bark but make great guard dogs due to hunting hound nature. You will look very cool walking 2 very tall REAL greyhounds! I would like to rehome them together @ 250.00 for both. If absolutely must I will rehome them separately at 150.00 each. As you know you will never see real registered greyhounds on CL and yes I am getting many calls. Photobucket

About Texas No Kill‘s Mission:

Texas No Kill strives to do just what its title implies: See a day when in Texas there is no need to kill our domestic animals in local shelters. To accomplish this, however, we must meet two objectives: To prevent the number of unwanted and uncared for animals, and ensure the animals that do exist, are healthy and well cared for in their homes. This means every cat and dog should be neutered or spayed, and every animal should have basic and routine preventive and medical care.

Texas No Kill works towards these goals through rescue and neuter assistance. Our neuter assistance efforts have included low income pet owners, catch and release feral cats, adoptive pet owners, and other rescue groups. The medical care we assist with includes: vaccinations, treatment for internal and external parasites, which includes heartworm treatment, and the treatment of various viral and bacterial infections and disease. In short, if an animal comes across it path, we want to enable its health and happiness while preventing it from reproducing.

Safe Respite is a sister organization to Texas No Kill.

Evening/Weekend Babystitter at your Service

Hello, my name is Erica I am looking for a family(ies) that may need part time/evening/weekend child care. I have 10 plus years experience baby-sitting and I absolutely adore kids.

What I have to offer:
I can provide excellent references.
I can usually baby-sit with last minute notice.
I was a foster parent for two years (specializing in newborn child care mostly).
I provide a progress report of each child each time they are in my care.
I have reliable transportation.
I adjust well to any routine.
I will bathe and feed child/children.
I will care for sick children (colds, stomach virus', etc.)

What I ask from parents:
I will ask to set up a time prior to any child care that I provide so that I can meet with the parents and child/children; so that the child can become somewhat familiar with me prior to the first time I baby-sit them.

I provide a packet for the parents to complete. Basically this paperwork is basic information that I will need such as if the child has any allergies, what the child can and cannot eat. Sleep patterns, feedings etc. Also in the packet there will be hospital information as far as what is the nearest hospital to your home and what hospital you prefer your child to be taken to in case of an emergency.

I ask that if the child is still riding in a car seat, that a seat be left in the home should an emergency arrive that I would have to leave the house with the child. I will not be leaving the home at anytime with the child unless the child needs to be rushed to the emergency room, or something should happen that the home needs to be evacuated.

I also ask that all contact numbers, such as cell phone numbers, alternate contact, and emergency numbers be visibly posted in your home.

I can care for children ages:
Newborn (4 weeks old) - Pre-teen (13 years old)
and up to three kids

Rates:
$10 hour

Background Check:
Feel free to check my background history, I don't mind! If you need any information from me to do so please don't hesitate to ask!

A little more about me:
I live in the Meyerland area, am single and have no kids therefore I am very flexible. I am very family oriented and have loved kids for as long as I can remember. Some of my hobbies include fishing, cooking, movies and going to the gym.

My Current Full-time Job:
I am currently employed as a coordinator at a hospital in the medical center. My hours are 9:30 a.m. -6 p.m. , Monday-Friday. My job does require me to work one day of the weekend maybe every two to three months however I have plenty of notice therefore I will be able to let you know when I am not available to work. I have been with the hospital for eight years and can honestly say that I absolutely love my job!
Related Hobbies and Interests
In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my family and friends, I enjoy bowling, swimming, movies, cooking and going to the gym.

Details:
Female
28 years old
10 + years of experience

Stolen Pugs

posted: August 16, 2009, 03:39 AM

Replypam2wise@rocketmail.com

Someone stole my 2 male pugs on Sunday, May 24, 2009. They were taken from our backyard located at 3814 Fernglade Drive in Houston, Harris County, Texas 77068. The Major intersections are FM1960, Falling Creek, Stubner Airline, Kyrkendahl (I do not know how to spell the street name.)

We have searched for them everywhere, put up over 250 posters, driven all around the area where they were taken, faxed or emailed as many vets listed on switchboard up to 15 miles away, made postings on craigslist and many other websites, and we still have not found them. I have reported them stolen to the Sheriff's Dept and have a case that is being investigated.

Tonight it dawned on me that maybe whomever stole my pugs, kept them because they can be used a studs and bread them. Both of my boys were intacted and not neutered.

I am hoping that maybe someone out there knows of any breeders in the area where my Pugs were stolen, and could pass on some names and addresses so that I could check to see if they have my boys…

Or maybe someone reading this knows of a relative, neighbor or friend that suddenly have to two pugs as pets.

Any tips would be very much helpful and most of all appreciated.

Please if possible, help me find my boys. I am lost and lonely without them... Thank you, Pamela Weisel 713-979-6148

Unfortunately, we no longer live in the area where the pugs were taken from. They were stolen the night before we moved.

Our new address is on Dover Drive in Montgomery, Texas in Walden about 45 minutes to an hour away from where my babies were taken from...

So if you find my pugs, or know who has them, please contact me at the number provided and please do not take them back to the house on Fernglade. .

GENEROUS REWARD OFFERED
