Angled guitar wall hangers - hang guitars on the wall at an angle

Welcome to HANG'em HIGH guitar hangers!

Gearwire.com - "Hanging things by the neck should be reserved only for traitors and international war criminals -- not guitars."  review

The HANG'em HIGH guitar hanger is a patent pending design made of a two-piece system that is mounted on the wall so you can proudly display and hang your guitar or bass on your wall at an ANGLE.  The angle can be adjusted from 15 to 90 degrees.

order at http://www.hangemhigh.net

It is designed for both right or left handed electric and acoustic guitars and basses with bodies from 1 to 6 inches thick, with or without headstocks. Works great for Fender Strats, Gibson Les Pauls, Jackson Kellys, Jackson RR V's, BC Rich Warlocks, Parker Fly's, Steinberger's etc.....

order at http://www.hangemhigh.net

This is the BEST and SAFEST way to hang your guitar

The Hang’em High hanger is the best and safest way to hang your guitar. The instrument sets on Durable Black Foam Rubber Grips that fully cover steel hanger brackets to protect the instrument from scratches. The hanger creates the least amount of stress on the guitar neck than any other guitar wall hanger because the weight is off of the guitar headstock and is placed on the guitar body and mid neck, the same as when you are holding and playing the instrument. You can safely hang and display your guitar without any long term damage and warping to the guitar neck and headstock.

order at http://www.hangemhigh.net

Ease of use

You can remove and hang your instrument very easily within seconds with this hanger just as simple as picking it up and setting it down, unlike other angled wall hangers where you have to remove your guitar strap to hang your guitar. With the Hang’em High guitar hanger you can leave the guitar strap on your instrument, ready to pick up and play.

Construction - Designed by a guitarist for the guitarist!!!

The hangers are constructed with Strong Red Oak wood bases with counter sunk holes for the mounting screws and come in three finishes, Black, Classic Oak and Natural Oak.  The steel hanger brackets are fully covered with Durable Black Foam Rubber Grips. The hangers come with mounting hardware that gives the instrument the security it needs with 2 anchor points for each base rated at 50 lbs each to ensure the hanger and instrument will stay up on the wall. This is especially important considering you're hanging something very valuable on it. Each Hanger is backed by a 30-Day Satisfaction guarantee and a lifetime warranty.

order at http://www.hangemhigh.net

Organize your room!

This is the perfect gift for the musician in your life to get their room organized and finally get those instruments off the floor and couch. Impress your guests with this hanger displaying your guitar in your studio and home.

Display that Autographed Guitar the right way!!!

Create that "Rock Star Lives here" look to your home like a "Hard Rock Cafe" then, grab them off the wall and jam! Museums, studios, restaurants, music stores, homes and offices around the country use these hangers.

order at http://www.hangemhigh.net

Want to play that guitar... you can remove and store your instrument very easily within seconds just as simple as picking it up and setting it down.

I love and swear by these things so much... that I replaced all of my vertical headstock guitar hangers and replaced them with these!!!

Remember--Designed by a guitarist for the guitarist!!!

Semi-New Cordoba Classical Guitar,Great intermediate Guitar,great condition. Price: $285 or B.Offer

DETAILS

The C5 is a full size acoustic nylon-string guitar with a solid Canadian Cedar top, African Mahogany back and sides, and a rosewood fingerboard. Handmade in the traditional Spanish style, the C5 also features an all wood inlaid rosette, rosewood binding, hand carved headstock, 7 fan bracing system, and bone nut and saddle.

SPECS

Solid Canadian Cedar Top • African Mahogany Back • High Gloss PU Finish • 650MM Scale Length • 52MM Width at Nut • Rosewood Fingerboard • Gold Tuning Machines • Cedar Neck • Rosewood Bridge • Savarez Cristal Corum Strings (500CR)

The information above is taken straight from the official website, nobody better than the manufacturer to give you the guitar’s details. Anyway, it is a Cordoba Iberia Series C5 Classical Guitar, as you read, Cedar top and mohangony back and sides. The guitar is in excellent condition, hardly any scratches (if at all) and absolutely nothing broken. It was bought in November of last year at Guitar Center. This guitar has a retail price of up to $500+, but I am only asking for $285. It is a gorgeous guitar, and while it is only one year old, it was only used for no more than 6 months. Reason I am selling it? I only bought it, in the first place, as a temporary measure until a custom guitar I ordered made was finished. Now that I have my custom guitar, I no longer need this one. But it is a great guitar, a sound not too warm and not too bright, as expected of a Cedar top. If you are serious, call me at 832 659 5665 to come and get your guitar. I only take cash, thank you for reading this.

NOTE: What looks like a scratch on one of the picture is simply sunlight reflection! Guitar is in great condition, no scratches, no cracks, nothing. You will be allowed to inspect it before purchase!

Bass Player Needed for Garage Rock!

It seems like no one in this city knows what garage rock is. Even worse is that it seems no one has an interest in playing it. What kind of bs is that?!

We are an experimental garage band. We have many influences, but at our core we are an experimental garage band. We also do acoustic rock as well (which, for you rock fans, used to have a place in the garage...remember?).

What we need is a bass player. A girl or guy who first, loves to play music. And secondly, loves rock and most importantly, garage rock.

Here are a few of our influences;

The Smiths, Brian Jonestown Massacre, Rolling Stones, 'Shoegaze', Stone Roses, My Blood Valentine, Velvet Underground, King Crimson, Little Stevens Underground Garage, Girl Groups, Sex Pistols, Ramones, Dandy Warhols, World Music, Roky Erickson and lots more.

And bonus if you know what the Nuggets/Children of Nuggets Box Sets are.

Lets bring the garage to Houston. We are between 26-28.

Review: The Battle for Texas (Last Weekend)

posted: November 4, 2009, 04:27 PM

REVIEW:

The BATTLE FOR TEXAS
Houston Regionals - Halloween Weekend

Greetings:

First of all let me thank everyone that participated in The Battle for Texas. This includes all Bands, Judges, Sponsors, Special Guest performers and of course...
Keith & Joyce Gilley that made the event memorable. The Gilley's name is a piece of Houston History known world-wide.

After looking back and considering the event, all bands performed exceptionally well and there was not one act that was not well above average to excellent. Every act was very well prepared. I believe this is why the judges had so much fun and commented at the event that they thoroughly enjoyed the variety of music on both days. But I assure you it was a difficult task for them to choose the best of everyone. Fortunately, the judging system I utilize puts all judges in an objective place to make it as simple a task as possible rather than rely on a simple like or dislike of a music style or performance.

Also note the Sunday judges were different from the Saturday "Country Music" judges and never knew the scores of the country acts from the night before.

As far as judging is concerned, I will always adhere to this system of competition. No one wins a winner by applause competition except the band with the most fans present at the end of the night. This is not to say don't enter these types of events, this says enter it for reasons other than winning or be prepared to sell a lot of tickets to your fans and get into the last two spots of the night...

I have already received thank you letters from several bands and I appreciate the kind words. In general the event went flawlessly from an operational point of view and I am quite pleased at how supportive all of you were to other bands. This includes members of the Damen Austin Band offering (without being asked) an amplifier cabinet to a band that needed one and members of 76 Mile Band allowing an act to borrow an acoustic guitar when their guitar was not functioning properly on Saturday night. True Pro's everyone!

As we begin to expand the B4T to other cities like San Antonio or Dallas please feel free to participate anytime. You do not have to live in a city to participate there. Also, winning the competition is not always THE GOAL to participate in an event such as this. Many do it for the experience and what better way to gain a fan base in another city than to participate in an event such as this. It also connects you to clubs in other cities when you are ready to expand beyond Houston.

Remember, the winner of our last event came in from Lake Charles, LA. She was a 16 year old singer/songwriter and piano player. Very talented and now at The Univ of Texas in Austin (Breanna Fye). If Breanna Fye keeps it up, you'll hear more from her in the future.

Again, Special Thanks to all the following:

Sponsors:

Platinum - K-Star Country 99.7
(You can expect to hear COUNTY ROAD ZERO & 76 MILE Bands interviewed live on the Bobby Douglas show from 3-7pm very soon. Music played too!)

Platinum - New Wave Promotion

Gold - Sinkhole Productions

Judges:

Saturday Night:
Justin Grant, Eddie Reeves, Theresa Reeves

Sunday:
Tish Meeks & Andrew Wood (3 Kisses), Edison Freeman (PineyWoods Studios)

Special Guest Artists for Saturday - Halloween Night:

Craig Squires (Space City Spaceman)
performing - "Halloween Fright - X-Ray Eyes"

Brenda Guy -
Performing her classic Dance, Disco & Country music covers between bands. WoW!

Andi Block -
Closed the night with her country dance music (30 minute set)

All Participating Bands:
Not necessarily in order of finish except for 1st three winning places.

1st Place: County Road Zero - Cleveland, TX - Country
2nd Place: Liquidious - Woodlands, TX - Rock
3rd Place: Illysium - College Station, TX - Metal

76 Mile Band - Katy, TX - Red Dirt/TX Country
Here's the Story Band - Conroe, TX - Indie Rock
Kill Me Holly Band - Houston, TX - Rock
Glenn Bryant Band - Houston, TX - Blues Rock
Sou'Briety - Houston, TX - HipHop/Rap
Damen Austin Band - Humble, TX - Rock/Blues/Retro
Franklin Monroe - Bryan, TX - Acoustic Soloist Singer/SongWriter

In conclusion, if there is any way I may be of assistance to your project, do not hesitate to ask. TBR Studios has a wide variety of services available.

Thanks,

Luckee
